It’s official, I have the words from the summer’s most irritating song stuck in my head.

Since I now have lots of free time (minus a couple of hours today because I have to go in to the office to say goodbye to everyone!), I’ve been site surfing a looottt + playing lots of free one-hour game trials.

One of my new favorites is I Am A Greedy Girl; it’s a blog almost entirely devoted to the stuff she wants to buy, and I’ve found we have very similar tastes in clothes and shoes, so it’s now my secondary online window shopping source – after Shop Bop. I am so excited to be going to New York in under a week, and meeting up with Sidra there, who will undoubtedly be a much more patient shopping partner than NYBoy!

She’s only staying for a few days and we have to do touristy things in the city, as well as clocking beach time on LI and driving over to the Tanger outlet stores. Does anyone have any awesome recommendations for shopping in NYC or the Oceanside, LI area? EMAIL ME!

I’m going to have to learn how to channel my thrifty side because I’m in New York for almost two months, and running out of money = running out of fun, and potentially very distressing situations involving seeing things I want a lot (read: need) and not being able to afford them.

I’m also thinking of getting my hair done at Bumble & Bumble’s downtown salon, because I loved it the last time I was there and I promised I was going to come back soon, as a thanks for my hairdresser shoving handfuls of individual hair leave-in treatments into my bag… they’ve run out now, so I have to go back right?
